  When most people think of medicine, they think of saving lives- but what about understanding death? That’s what the medical specialty of Forensic Pathology is all about. Forensic pathology is a branch of pathology that looks into deaths that aren’t natural or seem suspicious. It mainly focuses on figuring out how someone died by examining the body after death, usually through an autopsy. Very murder-mystery novel, right? The deaths aren’t usually as exciting as in books or TV, but it’s still an important profession.
